Design by Evelyn A. Clark. This variation of traditional Old Shale resembles falling raindrops. Rows of purl stitches between the lace create ribbing for a well fitting sock. The simple lace pattern forms scallops at the top of the socks and flattering vertical lines that run from the top to the toes. Womans average size. Adjust length to fit foot. Fingering weight sock yarn.
