This kit is perfect for beginners new to hand embroidery! The design features five classic hand embroidery stitches and you can stitch along with me on YouTube as I stitch the Floral Flourish design on camera. I demonstrate satin stitch, fishbone stitch, straight stitches, back stitch and French knots as they are utilized in the pattern. I created this design for beginners and for those of you looking for a simple project to relax with. There are only five colors of floss to manage and the floral pattern repeats three times. Stitch all three motifs the same or try new techniques as you make your way around the hoop.

Your kit includes:

• A piece of taupe cotton fabric, printed with the design in thin black lines. These guidelines are permanent. 
• One 5 inch hand embroidery hoop 
• Hand embroidery needles
• 5 skeins of cotton hand embroidery floss. Your kit will come with a mix of DMC and Cosmo brand six-stranded floss.
• The color printed embroidery instructions 
• A copy of the Beginner Guide

Your purchase includes the Floral Flourish embroidery pattern and a copy of the beginner guide. The embroidery pattern includes written instructions and suggested stitch order, stitch and color keys, a color close up photo of the completed embroidery art and a link to the online video tutorial.

The beginner guide includes a supplies list with suggested products based off of my experience, tips on how to get started, including pattern transfer suggestions for future projects, plus diagrams of stitches. The beginner guide can also be found online here with helpful videos, plus you can find some additional tutorials here. 

The kit does not include hand embroidery scissors but we do offer a selection.
