Tropical Plants Beginner Embroidery Kit

In Stock: 1

This is a perfect beginner kit for those of you who can't get enough plants on pink! Or maybe you just don't have a green thumb and need some forever foliage in your life. Either way this is a great hand embroidery project for people new to the hobby. You can keep the design super easy and simply outline the elements. Or, if you are ready to spend some time with your hoop you can fill in the elements and get lots of great practice with satin stitch. There are only 3 skeins of floss to keep track of so this is one of those projects you can easily toss in your bag and pull out when you find a moment to sneak in a few stitches.

Your kit includes:

  • 3 skeins of DMC embroidery floss
  • A piece of cotton fabric stamped with the design. These guidelines are permanent and you will need to cover them with your stitches.
  • One 4 inch inch wooden hoop
  • Embroidery needles
  • The color printed embroidery instructions
  • A copy of the Beginner Guide

Your purchase includes the Tropical Plants embroidery pattern and a copy of the beginner guide. The embroidery pattern includes written instructions and suggested stitch order, stitch and color keys, a color close up photo of the completed embroidery art and a link to the online video tutorial.

The beginner guide includes a supplies list with suggested products based off of my experience, tips on how to get started, including pattern transfer suggestions for future projects, plus diagrams of stitches. The beginner guide can also be found online here with helpful videos, plus you can find some additional tutorials here

The kit does not include hand embroidery scissors but we do offer a selection
