Yarn: 1 skein each of 2 colors of fingering weight yarn such as Whimsical Colors Silk Whimsy, Whimsical Colors Silky Merino Light, or Whimsical Colors Cashmere Bliss.

Gauge: 20 sts by 36 rows in garter stitch to a 4” square. While gauge is less critical for a shawl, your yarn yardage requirements will vary when knitting to a different gauge and the overall size of the shawl will change.

Needles: 32" long US4 (3.5mm) or size needed to obtain gauge.
